PMI Israel chapter is the local chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) which has over 300,000 registered members in 70 Chapters all over the world.
 
The goal of PMI Israel chapter is to implement the practical methodology of project management institute and to preserve the enormous knowledge of project management which had been collected over the years, at different companies and organizations in Israel.
PMI Israel holds an annual convention during the month of May.
Our yearly flagship event is considered to be the largest in the EMEA region (with well over 1,000 attendees in recent years).
The coming convention is scheduled to take place on May 25, 2010 at the  David Intercontinental in Tel Aviv and we expect over 1,200 project managers and other professionals who will join us to learn and benefit from the most interesting lectures from the best project managers and CEOs in Israel.
 
PMI Israel was granted PMI's permission to translate the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) to Hebrew and it is offered for sale in the Chapter's office (hundreds of copies were already sold country wide).
 
PMI Israel performs project management related professional tours to our chapter members at various companies in Israel.
PMI Israel also publishes a monthly electronic newsletter (which can also be viewed on our website) distributed to thousands of project managers and other professionals.
 
At PMI Israel, we are also engaged with the process of PMP® (Project Management Professional) certification by encouraging Israeli project managers to obtain the prestige professional certification, a certification which is well recognized all over the world.
 
PMI Israel maintains constant "on going" professional connections with fellow chapters all over the world.
 
All of our activities are conducted by volunteers, most of whom are members of the Chapter management.
 
Our members are project mangers from different fields of expertise and here they find a professional address for their needs.
